Cowboys inactives: K Dan Bailey, RB Darren McFadden, OT Tyron Smith, LB Sean Lee, S Jeff Heath, DT Daniel Ross, TE Blake Jarwin

The Cowboys will go with just two tailbacks against Philadelphia with Darren McFadden something of a surprise inactive. With Ezekiel Elliott suspended, the belief was the Cowboys would go with Alfred Morris, Rod Smith and McFadden in a committee approach. McFadden had just one carry last week against Atlanta and lost 2 yards.

After going through a rehab workout before the game, All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith will not play against the Eagles, according to a source. Byron Bell will start at left tackle. There is hope Smith can play on Thanksgiving against the Los Angeles Chargers. This will be the second straight game he has missed since injuring his groin against Kansas City Chiefs.

The roof at AT&T Stadium will be open for the first time this season when the Cowboys take on the Eagles. The Cowboys are 2-3 all-time with the roof open and the doors closed. The last time the roof was open (as well as the doors) was against Philadelphia, a 29-23 overtime win for the Cowboys, last year.

Nowitzki hits another milestone

After going 1-of-3 in Saturday's win over Milwaukee, Dirk Nowitzki became the 14th player in NBA history with 1,800 made 3-pointers. Entering Sunday, the 7-footer ranks at No. 14 trailing J.R. Smith (1,802) and Kobe Bryant (1,827).

Dan Bailey, who will miss his fourth straight game with a groin injury, went through a series of field goal attempts after a rehab session prior to tonight's game against Philadelphia. When Bailey is able to return to game action the Cowboys are likely to keep two kickers on the 53-man roster with Mike Nugent handling kickoffs.

FPI: Near coin flip in Big D

The Eagles are red hot, and the Cowboys are reeling a bit, but FPI sees a tight battle: Only one Week 11 game is more evenly matched. The Cowboys haven't been FPI underdogs at home since Week 5 of last season, when they ran all over the Bengals.

Not much of a surprise given the lack of major upsets yesterday, but there were no changes in the top nine spots in current Strength of Record. The one change on this list is that Oklahoma State fell off following its loss to Kansas State and was replaced by TCU in the No. 10 spot.
