The Texas Rangers have placed relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress on the Major League Baseball restricted list for Friday's game against the Cleveland Indians. Jeffress, who has a 4.00 ERA in nine appearances after being acquired at the trade deadline, was arrested this morning and charged with driving while intoxicated. That incident has prevented Jeffress from attending Friday night's game and fulfilling his contract.
