Saturday's longest home runs

Rougned Odor teed off twice against the White Sox, with his second blast reaching the upper deck in right field at Globe Life Park. A pair of rookies flexed their muscles in Saturday's Red Sox-Yankees tilt while Mike Trout's multihomer game in Baltimore gave him six seasons with at least 25 home runs, tying Tim Salmon's Angels record.

Jerry Jones wasn't ready to say Cooper Rush could be the Cowboys' backup to Dak Prescott despite the rookie's play. "I'm just glad to see Rush taking advantage of his opportunities out there," Jones said. "Wouldn't want to get ahead of ourselves in any way here. And the other thing is that we have a lot of confidence in (Moore), his ability to be able to get in there when we would call on him with the personnel around him and get the ball in the right places."

Smith's 'long journey' rewarded in Dallas start

In his first game since a devastating knee injury in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl, Cowboys LB Jaylon Smith played 12 snaps and was credited with one tackle, later calling his return to the field "just the beginning."

FINAL: Cowboys 24, Colts 19: The night will be remembered for Jaylon Smith's first action (12 snaps) since Jan. 2016. Maybe it will also be known for Cooper Rush (two touchdowns) becoming a possible No. 2 quarterback to Dak Prescott.
