OTD: Rangers rout O's in historic fashion

Tuesday marks the 10-year anniversary of the Rangers beating the Orioles 30-3, the most runs scored in a game in the modern era (since 1900). Texas scored all 30 runs in just four different innings, meaning the team was held scoreless in more innings than it scored.

Hamels continues winning ways with Texas

Cole Hamels improved to 9-1 in the Rangers' 5-3 win Monday. It was Hamels' 60th start with the Rangers, and he is now 31-7 (.816) with the team. Hamels is the second pitcher in major league history with an .800 or higher winning percentage in his first 60 starts with a team. Jim McCormick started 47-10 (.825) with the Cubs in 1885-1886. Suit alleges Baylor failures under new policies

A Title IX lawsuit filed Monday says a recent sexual assault investigation "directly contradicted any assurance that meaningful change had occurred" at Baylor following the sexual violence scandal involving the football program.
