Texas Tech-Oklahoma delayed

NORMAN, Okla. -- Because of pending inclement weather in the area, the kickoff for Texas Tech's game at Oklahoma has been delayed, and is not expected to start until about 4:45 p.m. ET.

The game between the No. 10 Red Raiders (7-0, 4-0 Big 12 Conference) and No. 15 Sooners (6-1, 3-1) was scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. ET.

With a storm expected to move into the Norman area shortly, the teams have been kept off the field for warm-ups. They are expected to take the field at 3:30, with the game to follow after a 75-minute warmup period.

When Texas Tech last visited Norman in 2011, the game was delayed by almost two hours because of rain. Texas Tech took a 24-7 lead into halftime before winning 41-38 over No. 3 Oklahoma in that game.
