Brenden Morrow, Trevor Daley still out

FRISCO -- Dallas Stars captain Brenden Morrow and defenseman Trevor Daley, both nursing back injuries, will miss at least the next two games.

Morrow has missed the last four games and Daley missed Monday's game at Colorado.

"I fully think that both of them should be ready at some point on [the upcoming] road trip," Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said.

That five-game road trip begins Dec. 8 in San Jose.

Morrow has been on injured reserve, retroactive to Nov. 21. He has been slowed by a variety of issues this season, including his back, knee and an infected elbow.

Michael Ryder, Vernon Fiddler and Jamie Benn did not practice Wednesday. They were given maintenance days.

Alex Goligoski (broken thumb) and Adam Burish (broken hand) skated after practice. Goligoski said he gets his cast off on Friday. Gulutzan said Goligoski possibly could return at some point during the road trip.
