The NBA Draft is all about potential. You see very few guys making an immediate impact at the next level.
But there are two guys who will step in right away and make a difference: Kentucky's John Wall and Ohio State's Evan Turner. After that, it comes down to reaching potential. Some will make it; others will be a bust. Only time will tell.
Draft guru Marty Blake said it best: It takes three or four years to give a true evaluation of the draft.
Here is a look at my dazzling dozen for the 2010 draft. This is the VBDI (Vitale Bald Dome Index) rating of players based on skill factor. This doesn't mean that these players will go in this order; I will do a mock draft later in the week.
1. John Wall
2. Evan Turner
6. Greg Monroe
8. Cole Aldrich
10. Ed Davis
12. Ekpe Udoh
