After scoring a total of 13 points in the first two games of the tournament, he had 19 big points vs. UCLA.

TEAM OF THE DAY: Wisconsin

The Badgers jumped out to a 25-11 lead en route to a blowout of Baylor.

COACH OF THE DAY: Archie Miller, Dayton

He has the 11th-seeded Flyers in the Elite Eight. Not bad for a team which was 13-8 through January.

SHOCK OF THE DAY: Dayton in Elite Eight

The Flyers are the Cinderella story of the tournament.

UNEXPECTED HEROES OF THE DAY: Kendall Pollard, Dayton; Nigel Hayes, Wisconsin

Pollard, who did not score in double figures before Thursday, had 12 points, hitting five of six field goals attempts in 14 minutes vs. Stanford. Hayes showed his athleticism and future potential, scoring 10 against Baylor.
