When I think of Wide World of Sports, I don't think about the poor guy who kept crashing down the ski jump. I think of Acapulco cliff diving. We thought about going there for a reprise, but once we saw what the divers do in Mostar, Bosnia, we thought again. In Mostar, they've been jumping off the same bridge since 1664. In Mostar, the bridge they jump from was blown up in a war. In Mostar, they kept jumping even during the war. The jumping and diving matter a great deal there. And so does the rebuilt bridge. Twenty-three men who used to jump from it died during the war. We heard stories of survival from others who made it through the conflict, and we heard why it was so important that the jumping and diving from Mostar's bridge never ceased.
