Fans from Hockeytown are happy with the on-the-ice product. The Wings have been in the playoffs for 22 straight seasons and have four Stanley Cups during that span. Fans love owner Mike Ilitch, GM Ken Holland and coach Mike Babcock, and they have few objections with a roster that is consistently among the NHL's most talented. However, the experience of seeing the Wings play at Joe Louis Arena is another story. Detroit tied with St. Louis for having the most points in the league last year in home games (and led the NHL for the most home-game wins, 31), but only four teams' fans gave their team a lower score in stadium experience. Said fan Valerie G. about attending home games: "It's old, I feel like my butt barely fits in the seats, many of the concession stands haven't caught up to taking plastic, but they certainly have decided to go with increased prices, bathrooms -- ugh." Now imagine how she'd feel if the team lost.
