Cornell's coach is suddenly a media darling

Steve DonahueKim Klement/US PresswireCornell coach Steve Donahue will likely be in high demand after his team's run to the Sweet 16.

How about the two games turned in by Cornell this past weekend? Wow! It sure was hard not to be impressed by the way it played against Temple in the first round and Wisconsin in the second. Steve Donahue's team was never really threatened by Temple in its opening-round game, and it flat-out destroyed Wisconsin.

Up next for the Big Red are the big, bad Wildcats from Kentucky, who also breezed by their first two opponents in the tournament. It's hard to imagine Cornell pulling off the upset against Kentucky, but tell you what -- if it plays as flawlessly as it did against Wisconsin, it may very well continue marching on to Indianapolis.

Donahue joined ESPN Radio in Chicago to talk about his team's outstanding play in the opening two rounds, whether he was upset by being a No. 12 seed, how he's trying to keep his team focused, if he's surprised by just how well it has played, and what he thinks it will take for his team to knock off the very athletic Wildcats.
