Just as the NFL puts out an injury report on the likelihood that certain players will suit up each week (Probable, Questionable, Doubtful or Out), we rate the NFL schedule on the likelihood that games will be worth watching. Because let's face it, you can't watch them all.
"PROBABLE" Game of the Week: Dallas at New York Giants.
The Giants will have a great chance to win this New Year's Day match-up so long as Eli Manning doesn't spend New Year's Eve looking like this.
According to a recent poll, the Packers and not the Cowboys are now America's team. But Dallas can take solace in still being Texas' team -- at least until next week, when the Texans will be definitely be in the playoffs and the Cowboys may not be.
"QUESTIONABLE" Game of the Week: New York Jets at Miami.
Contrary to most reports, the Jets actually have a 50/50 chance of making the playoffs: They'll either be in it, or they won't.
"DOUBTFUL" Game of the Week: San Francisco at St. Louis.
The Rams can earn the No. 1 pick if they lose this game and the Colts beat the Jaguars, but coach Steve Spagnuolo is hoping for a win. "One of the most rewarding things in this business is the locker room at the end of a win." He should know. With 10 wins in three seasons, he can vividly remember each one.
"OUT" Game of the Week: Chicago at Minnesota.
Jared Allen needs four sacks to tie Michael Strahan's single-season record (22.5), but he's hampered by the fact that Brett Favre won't be under center and taking bar dives for the Bears.
