Tim Tebow, Rascal Flatts' mutual admiration

Tue, Apr 3

Tim Tebow's favorite entertainer?

That's easy.

Rascal Flatts.

And the feeling is mutual when it comes to the new quarterback for the New York Jets.

"He's an unbelievable talent and winner," said Gary LeVox, lead singer of the award-winning country band from Columbus, Ohio. "We met Tim while he was in college and have stayed friends ever since. I think he'll do great in New York."

In fact, on Rascal Flatts' new CD called "Changed," out Tuesday, the band is giving a shoutout to Tebow in the liner notes.

"Tim Tebow -- I'm so proud of ya bro. You're a great inspiration in my life and our brotherhood is unwavering. Your heart is bigger than any record you will ever set. Love ya and say it back! Robby Tebow -- You're the best bro, and I thank you for being you."

LeVox said he talked with Tebow before heading to New York and knows the popular quarterback will do well.

"God has given him this ability, more than just on the football field," LeVox said. "I hope he can bring the mojo back to the Jets."
