What a day Wednesday was, with Tim Tebow becoming a New York Jet, then not becoming a Jet, then finally becoming a Jet for reals.

There to chronicle it all was Terrance Knighton, aka "Pot Roast," a Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle and an entertaining (if not always SFW) tweeter. Throughout the day, Knighton took to Twitter to talk Tebow, expressing his, uh, desire to become teammates with the former Denver Broncos quarterback -- before and after the trade (and the snag that almost nullified it).

Here's a sample. Serious or kidding? You decide …

(That's a reference to teammate Uche Nwaneri, a noted Tebow critic who later tweeted "#Tebow to the #jets #ThankGod")

But he wasn't. Soon came the trade …

Then the snag …

Then the news that Tebow could pick his destination …

And finally, it becomes official:

(Oh, and we have an answer to the whole serious-or-joking thing.)
