Lawjahn Johnson, one of the drum majors, leads the Edna Karr High School Marching Band during the annual NOMTOC (New Orleans Most Talked of Club) Mardi Gras parade. Band director Chris Herrero says, "Being a drum major in New Orleans is a bigger deal than being the quarterback of the high school football team."
