In 1992 Golf Laboratories president Gene Parente invented the game's now-ubiquitous hitting machine, which can simulate the exact trajectory and speed of anyone's swing, allowing it to test what type of equipment works best for a golfer. "This machine is more accurate than any golfer in the world," says Parente. "If you want a 300-yard drive, we can do it."
