With the San Francisco faithful loudly wondering if it's time to make Colin Kaepernick the starting quarterback, Alex Smith sets out to answer all doubters against Seattle, throwing for 221 yards, two touchdowns, and only one interception as he leads the 49ers to a 31-24 victory over their NFC West rivals. Marshawn Lynch runs for 70 yards, including a 57-yard touchdown for Seattle in the loss.
