Johnson races to Victory Lane

To win a race like the Daytona 500, both the driver and car have to be preforming at a high level. This was the case for Jimmie Johnson as he debuted the new Chevy Generation-6 car on Sunday. Johnson was able to use the lighter, sleeker car to his advantage, making a close pass in front of Brad Keselowski for the lead prior to a late caution flag. The five-time Sprint Cup champion never looked back. He went on to Victory Lane, hoisting the Harley Earl Trophy for the second time in his career.

Everyone knew James Harden is a scorer but a career high against the NBA's third-best team, that was a bit unexpected. Harden lit up the Thunder and hit big shot after big shot against the Nets and Wizards, proving that he's now a go-to player. Ronda Rousey did what she does best in her UFC debut Saturday night. After fighting her way out of a rear-naked choke, Rousey took control and forced Liz Carmouche into an armbar submission, becoming the first female to win a UFC event.
