Vote your top moment for 1998

In celebration of ESPN The Magazine's anniversary, we want you to help select the most significant moment for each of the Mag's 15 years. SportsNation will decide the top moment, to be revealed in the May 3 issue.

Mark McGwire

The home run chase of 1998 dominated the summer. With his 62nd home run coming off Steve Trachsel, Mark McGwire sets the single-season home run record, previously held by Roger Maris. McGwire finishes the season with 70. Sammy Sosa hits Nos. 61 and 62 six days later and finishes with 66.

Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan hits the game-winning shot in an epic Game 6 against Utah to clinch the Bulls' second championship three-peat.

John Elway

John Elway's third-quarter "helicopter" dive for first down helps the Broncos best the Green Bay Packers for Elway's first Super Bowl victory.

The Yankees

The Yankees set an AL record with their 114th regular-season win. They go on to sweep the Padres for their second World Series championship in three years.

Ricky Williams

Ricky Williams sets the NCAA rushing and rushing TD records and wins the Heisman.
