It was a big week in sports, so big that some outstanding performances couldn't even crack the top 10. There was no room for R.A. Dickey's back-to-back 10-strikeout games, Chris Sale's 15-K dominance, Luke Donald's return to the top of the World Golf Ranking or even Albert Pujols' sudden resurgence.
There was room for Dario Franchitti, who is making room for his third Indianapolis 500 trophy. Franchitti is just the 10th driver to win Indy three times, adding the 2012 title to his wins in 2007 and 2010. He edges LeBron James, who has been a one-man wrecking crew for Miami in the 2012 playoffs.
Also making the podium -- to steal a term from IndyCar -- is Paul Konerko, who is on the hottest of hot streaks. But should he be higher? And should some of those other names have made the list? Let us know what you think in the comments section. If you impress our panel with your critique, you could be featured as a guest ranker for next week's edition.
