Federer is cream of the crop

The King of the Slams is back on top.

Roger Federer, the all-time leader in men's singles Grand Slam titles, hadn't won one since the 2010 Australian Open. But at Wimbledon, on his favorite surface, Federer came through again, returning to the top of the tennis world and earning the top spot in this week's rankings.

Federer edged out another Wimbledon champ, Serena Williams, who actually won two titles this weekend. First, she defeated Agnieszka Radwanska to win her fifth Wimbledon singles trophy, then teamed with her sister Venus -- who also has five Wimbledon titles -- to take home the doubles crown.

With baseball headed to the All-Star break, it's no surprise that this week's top 10 has an MLB feel to it, but none of the boys of summer was able to break up the tennis monopoly, in the eyes of our panel. But what do you think? Let your voice be heard in the comments, and if you impress the panel, you could be chosen as a guest ranker for next week.
