The question all season in college football seemed to be who would face Alabama in the national title game. Then, with one outstanding Saturday, Texas A&M freshman QB Johnny Manziel changed the discussion entirely. The man they call "Johnny Football" tossed a pair of touchdowns to lead the Aggies to an upset over the previously unbeaten Crimson Tide, throwing the BCS race into chaos and injecting himself into the Heisman discussion in the process.
Manziel's heroics were enough to beat out another outstanding freshman QB, Oregon's Marcus Mariota. The Ducks' first-year signal-caller tossed a career-high six touchdowns in Oregon's rout of Cal, keeping Mariota & Co. on track for a BCS title game appearance. The two college QBs garnered enough support to push pro QBs Drew Brees and Joe Flacco down to Nos. 6 and 7, respectively.
