EA Sports announced that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and Grand Slam Tennis will both ship to stores for the Wii on June 16, and they will also be the first two EA Sports games to utilize the new Wii MotionPlus controller.
According to the press release, EA Sports has at least five products in development specifically for the Wii that will launch by the end of 2009.
"On the Wii, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis bring the authentic motion and excitement of championship golf and tennis to life for fans of all ages and skill levels," says Peter Moore, President, EA Sports. "With the new Wii MotionPlus, slicing a winner on Centre Court at Wimbledon or dropping an 8 iron pin high on No. 17 at TPC Sawgrass have never felt better."
With the Wii MotionPlus controller, EA promises near 1:1 swings, both on the virtual golf course and even on Centre Court at Wimbledon as gamers recreate their strokes from real life and transfer them directly into the games.
