Razorbacks practice 30 minutes
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- In anticipation of a weekend off, the Arkansas Razorbacks practiced for 30 minutes Thursday, focusing mainly on punt returns.
Arkansas hosts Auburn in the Razorbacks' Oct. 11 homecoming game.
"We had a good day today," coach Houston Nutt said. "We worked hard on punt returns. We hit some things offensively and defensively for Auburn, just trying to get a head start on our game plan.
"It's been a good week and we're going to give them a couple days off and start back on Sunday," he said.
Nutt said the condition of seniors Lawrence Richardson and George Wilson has improved.
"George looked a lot better today," Nutt said. "He was jogging and that's real encouraging. Lawrence is getting better, but we gave him the day off and that will really help him having a full 72 hours to stay off it. Hopefully, he'll be at 100 percent by Sunday."
