Young says he feels ``very good''
AUSTIN -- Texas freshman quarterback Vince Young says his right ankle feels fine and he'll be ready to play against No. 1 Oklahoma on Saturday, although coach MackBrown still hasn't announced who his starter will be.
"I feel very good, 100 percent," Young said Tuesday.
Young had to be helped off the field in the third quarter of last week's 24-20 win over Kansas State only to return in the fourth and lead Texas to the winning score.
Young said he won't watch a replay of the gruesome-looking ankle twist until after the season.
"They say it was pretty bad," Young said.
Brown said he still hasn't decided whether to start Young or junior Chance Mock against the Sooners and may not decide until Saturday.
