LARAMIE, Wyo. -- Senior offensive lineman Henry Randle has been suspended for Saturday's game at San Diego State for violating team rules, Cowboys head coach Joe Glenn announced Tuesday.

Glenn said Randle's suspension will end Sunday.

University officials did not describe the violation.

Randle, a native of St. Louis, was ineligible to play in Wyoming's first five games because of academic problems. Earlier this month, after he completed an indpendent study course in communications and journalism, he was declared eligible to compete for the rest of the season.

After starting the final seven games of the 2002 season at right tackle, Randle was a projected starter at right guard for 2003. He had started 16 of 23 games for the Cowboys over the previous two seasons.

He transferred to Wyoming from Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College following the 2000 season.
