Lehigh QB Keating among I-AA Players of the Week
JERSEY CITY, New Jersey - Lehigh quarterback Kyle Keating, who passed for a school record-tying six touchdowns, was among the ESPN/USA Today Division I-AA Players of the Week named on Monday.
Keating, who was named Division I-AA Offensive Player of the Week, completed 32-of-43 passes for 344 yards as the Mountain Hawks rolled to a 45-24 victory at Georgetown on Saturday.
Massachusetts safety Shannon James and Fordham kicker Micah Clukey were named Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.
James picked up a fumble and scampered 39 yards for the go-ahead touchdown with just 2:08 remaining in the Minutemen's 19-14 triumph at Villanova.
Clukey booted four field goals, including a go-ahead 31-yarder with 27 seconds left, as the Rams edged Lafayette on the road, 32-30.
