ORANGE, France -- The team of Tour de France leader Chris Froome has volunteered to open up all of his training and performance data and blood readings to independent scrutiny to try to silence any suspicions of doping.

Team Sky general manager Dave Brailsford suggested the World Anti-Doping Agency could help.

Brailsford says "every day we get asked the same question and I can assure you that we are thinking very hard about the optimal way of proving to you guys that we are not doping."

The climate of suspicion that haunts cycling after the downfall of Lance Armstrong has led to intense scrutiny of Froome's strong performances at the 100th Tour de France.
