ARCADIA, Calif. -- Parliamentarian led all the way to win the $58,000 feature for older horses bred or sired in California by 4½ lengths at Santa Anita on Thursday.

Ridden by apprentice Drayden Van Dyke, Parliamentarian ran six furlongs in 1:09.58 and paid $19.60, $10 and $5.80 at 8-1 odds.

Master Chef returned $4.60 and $3.20, while Crimson Giant was another neck back in third and paid $8.40 to show.

The victory, worth $34,800, increased Parliamentarian's career earnings to $75,120, with two wins in three starts. The 5-year-old gelding had been idle since last January.
