Five Star Momma wins Big A's Chip Stakes

NEW YORK -- Five Star Momma led wire-to-wire in the $95,000 Chip Stakes for fillies and mares Wednesday at Aqueduct.

Jose Ortiz rode for trainer Jena Antonucci as Five Star Momma beat Cape Cod Carol by 2 1/4 lengths in the four-horse race. The 4-year-old posted her fourth win in 15 races, paying $2.50 and $2.10 as the 1-5 choice. The time was 1:10.81 for six furlongs on the fast track.

Cape Cod Carol returned $2.10. Love Contract was third, followed by Kiss in the Forest.

There was no show wagering.
