CINCINNATI - One day after Cory Lidle finally had a decent start, the Cincinnati Reds got rid of him.

The Reds traded Lidle to the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday for minor leaguers Javon Moran and Joe Wilson and a player to be named.

Lidle posted his first victory since June 30 on Sunday, yielding three runs and nine hits in six innings in a 14-7 triumph at Colorado. The 32-year-old righthander, who is a free agent following this season, went 7-10 with a 5.32 ERA in 24 starts for the Reds, including 1-5 with a 6.98 ERA in his last seven.

Moran, a 21-year-old outfielder, has hit .285 with 39 stolen bases for Class A Lakewood this season. Wilson, a 22-year-old pitcher, went 4-7 with a 3.64 ERA in 19 starts and five relief appearances for Lakewood.

Both players will be assigned to Class A Dayton of the Midwest League.
