LOS ANGELES -- Right-handed reliever Tanyon Sturtze agreed Tuesday to a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers and was invited to spring training.
If Sturtze is added to the 40-man roster, he would receive a one-year deal worth $550,000 while in the majors and $65,000 while in the minors.
A favorite of manager Joe Torre, Sturtze made three appearances with the Dodgers last August before being designated for assignment at the end of the month.
