Manchester City ties at last-place QPR
LONDON -- Manchester City missed a chance to put pressure on Premier League leader Manchester United, tying 0-0 Tuesday night at last-place Queens Park Rangers.
Manchester United (18-3-2) can open a seven-point lead over City (15-2-7) with a win over Southampton on Wednesday.

Newcastle improved to 24 points by winning 2-1 at Aston Villa on goals by Papiss Cisse and Yohan Cabaye.
