Weekend Warrior [hr2]
Doc retells his thoughts about the importance of heritage in art and medicine and sports. Doc looks at the Canadian Mohawk high iron workers who worked on the high rises in NYC because they weren't afraid of heights and heritage of making surf boards in Manhattan Beach after WWII. Doc welcomes Barry Haun, who is curator-creative director at the Surfer Heritage Museum and talks about the creation of the museum, the Bruce Brown exhibit, and the history of surfing. The Weekend Warrior Clinic re-opens for listeners.
