Mo'ne Davis a hit on Twitter
It’s a hard and fast rule of baseball. Always has been. Whenever a 13-year-old girl pitches a complete-game shutout to lead her team to the Little League World Series, Twitter takes notice.
“Crazy,” Mo’ne Davis said. “It’s unbelievable.”
Pro sports teams, politicians, football players, moms, dads and kids reacted similarly to Davis’ three-hitter for Taney Youth Baseball Association of Philadelphia, which defeated Delaware 8-0 on Sunday.
