A day off! Yes!

Sloane Stephens faces No. 12 Ana Ivanovic on Saturday night.

NEW YORK -- Well, I slept in until 9:45 on Friday morning. I could have slept longer, but I could hear the cars on the street, so I figured it was time to get up. I headed right out to Starbucks to get coffee for my Grandparents (my Mom, brother, aunts and uncle). They've got me working!

We had lunch at Miss Korea at noon, which was absolutely yummy! My Aunt Jen joined us for lunch after flying in the night before. After lunch, we headed to the U.S. Open site for press -- a Tennis Channel interview with my girl Cari Champion, and a few others. I also had a short hit with my good friend Grace Min on P4, then had a little treatment before heading back to the city. The traffic was outrageous Friday (it took an hour to get back), but it's all good -- I was the DJ in the car and everybody had a good time.

We headed right out to dinner with my entire family at Les Halles -- the food was delish! I had steak, fries, soup and my famous drink -- the Sloane special. You'll have to ask Tim Siemers at Les Halles what's in it because I have no clue.

I'm going to have a great night’s sleep! Looking forward to my night match on Ashe tonight against Ana Ivanovic.
