On 1/3/13, we honor two of the most famous No. 13s in women's soccer history. Current fate tempter Alex Morgan concluded the 2012 season with 28 goals and 21 assists, becoming the first U.S. women’s national team member to tally at least 20 goals and 20 assists in the same calendar year since Mia Hamm did it 14 years ago. Former No. 13 Kristine Lilly, who retired two years ago, still holds the record for most caps in all of men’s and women’s soccer, with 352. Maybe No. 13 isn't so unlucky after all.
