Shanshan Feng shot a 5-under 67 on Sunday last year to claim her first LPGA title.

The second major of the 2013 LPGA season, the LPGA Championship, tees off today at Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford, N.Y. In 2012, Shanshan Feng, at 22 years old, became the first player from mainland China to win on the LPGA Tour. This year, she's seventh in the Rolex world rankings with four Top 10s. She is looking to join some elite players as repeat champions at the event. Annika Sorenstam was the last to do it, winning three straight from 2003-2005. Juli Inkster went back-to-back in 1999-2000, Patty Sheehan won in 1983-84 and Mickey Wright won in 1960-61. Inbee Park won the year's first major, the Kraft Nabisco Championship, and became the eighth straight Asian player to win a major title.
