LPGA Takes Over The Big House And Beyond In Ann Arbor, Michigan

The LPGA announced it will be adding the Volvik Championship in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to its 2016 schedule on Wednesday. Not willing to settle for some boring standard press release, the organization decided to do it big with its announcement.

Tour members Victoria Elizabeth, Katherine Kirk and Amy Anderson put on their best maize and blue gear and headed to the Big House to hit some balls. You know, just a casual practice sesh. NBD or anything. The trio also visited some other iconic spots in town during their visit and sampled some local fare.

And while the PR campaign was definitely a genius way to get some attention for the new tournament, it seems Elizabeth -- a Dayton, Ohio, native -- wasn't exactly thrilled to be rocking Michigan gear.

If that doesn't deserve some kind of brownie points, or at least a really good tee time at a future tournament, I really don't know what does.
