Madison Kocian and Aly Raisman introduce Carrie Underwood at CMT gala

Madison Kocian and Carrie Underwood have upgraded their friendship to BFF status.

After meeting Underwood at her show in Dallas last month, Kocian -- as well as fellow Final Five teammate Aly Raisman -- was personally invited by the country music star to attend the CMT Artists of the Year gala on Wednesday in Nashville, Tennessee.

But that's not all, Kocian and Raisman -- who won gymnastics gold at the Rio Games -- also introduced Underwood on stage right before the singer received the honor of being named one of the best artists in country music. The task was a walk in the park for the two gymnasts, who recently presented Beyoncé with the Best Female Video trophy at the MTV Video Music Awards in August.

To top it off, both Olympic medalists shined (quite literally) in their OOTN.

Kocian posted a picture to Instagram from Wednesday night's event, which will air Thursday at 8 p.m. CT on CMT.

Kocian and Raisman also met rising country star Kelsea Ballerini, who took home the breakout artist award.
