Heather O'Reilly and Crystal Dunn welcome Carli Lloyd to England

Carli Lloyd announced on Wednesday she would be to joining Manchester City on a short-term contract . While the move is obviously a major deal for the English club, she is just the latest of American players to play overseas this season.

Not only is Lloyd the fourth U.S. women's national soccer star to sign to play in Europe this year, but she's the third to play in England. Now that she will be joining Heather O'Reilly (Arsenal) and Crystal Dunn (Chelsea) across the pond, they were quick to welcome her to her new stomping grounds.

O'Reilly, who retired from the national team in the fall, couldn't help but comment on the weather, but also gave praise to their new country.

And Dunn kept her welcome short and sweet.

Looks like there will be some pretty epic matches in the near future in the Champions League.
