UCLA's Kyla Ross earns the first perfect score on beam in Pac-12 championship history

Kyla Ross made quite the impression at the Pac-12 gymnastics championships over the weekend. While her UCLA squad  tied for third with Washington behind Utah and Oregon State, the 2012 Olympic gold medalist still made history when she became the first gymnast to record a 10.0 score on the beam at the annual event. It was her fourth perfect score of the year, and earned her the apparatus conference title.

And if that wasn't enough for one weekend, Ross also was named the Pac-12 freshman of the year, as voted on by the coaches.

Not a bad weekend, indeed.
