UConn sends hilarious message to Syracuse ahead of second-round showdown

In a rematch of the 2016 national championship game, top-seeded UConn faces eighth-seeded Syracuse in the second round of the NCAA tournament on Monday night. With the game being played at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs -- you know, on the UConn campus -- the defending national champions have a slight home-court advantage.

And the host school wanted to make sure the visiting team felt welcomed. Or, um, something like that. UConn took to Twitter with the following not-so-subtle message:


While I'm not totally sold that those are oranges and not clementines, I still very much appreciate the effort by the Huskies here. Your move, Syracuse.
