CoCo Vandeweghe and her Fed Cup teammates had some fun at the ballpark

The women of the United States Fed Cup team were given ceremonial first-pitch honors Tuesday night at the Tampa Bay Rays-Detroit Tigers game. CoCo Vandeweghe, joined by teammates Bethanie Mattek-Sands, Shelby Rogers and Lauren Davis, performed the actual delivery, and she got the ball across home plate the best way she knows how -- with a tennis racket, of course.

While there somehow doesn't seem to be any video available of the pitch, it does look like all the women on the squad, and team captain Kathy Rinaldi, had a pretty great evening -- complete with selfies and the singing of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame."

The Rays won 5-1, so I think it's safe to say a good time was had by all, minus the Tigers, of course.

The U.S. takes on the Czech Republic Saturday and Sunday in the Fed Cup semifinals in Tampa.
