UConn women's basketball team honored at the Connecticut State Capitol

Sure, the UConn women's basketball team didn't win the national championship this year, but when you've won 11 titles since 1995, you still get honored.

The Huskies, who surprisingly lost to Mississippi State in the semifinals, were recognized at the Connecticut State Capitol in Hartford on Wednesday. Joined by the school's men's basketball and football teams, the group received a warm welcome and even hung out with the governor.

Not only that, but head coach Geno Auriemma addressed state legislators in the House chamber. Like a boss.

Yup, it's still good to be a member of UConn women's basketball team -- win or lose.
