Andy Murray corrects journalist after Wimbledon loss, wins our hearts

Even after dropping his quarterfinal match in five sets to Sam Querrey, Andy Murray left Wimbledon a winner.

In his post-match press conference, an ESPN reporter asked the No. 1-ranked tennis player to comment on Querrey being the first American player to reach a major semifinal since 2009.

Murray did not let him finish the question, quickly correcting the reporter's line of questioning:

Andy Murray interjected during a reporter's question after he overlooked the success of American female players in major tournaments.

Remember Serena Williams? Venus? 

His prize? Mom's approval.
