Geno Auriemma and George Springer compare championship hardware (probably)

Geno Auriemma is no stranger to that whole winning thing. Having coached UConn to 11 national championships (and an impressive win over No. 3 Notre Dame on Sunday) and the U.S. women's basketball team to two gold medals, he knows what it takes to win when it counts.

Naturally, he hangs out with other winners on the regular.

On Monday, the legendary coach was visited by World Series MVP and champion George Springer of the Houston Astros. As a UConn alumnus, Springer was likely eager to show off his new hardware to someone who understands how difficult it is to find space on the mantle:

Real recognize real. Champ recognize champ.
