Dawn Staley's hometown street is now Dawn Staley Lane

Dawn Staley just keeps racking up the accolades in 2017. The South Carolina women's basketball coach won her first national championship (becoming the second African-American woman to do so), was named as head coach of the United States women's national team, and now has a street named after her.

Specifically, it is her street.

Diamond Street, from 23rd to 25th in Philadelphia, has been dubbed Dawn Staley Lane.

Staley, a Philadelphia native, grew up at 23rd and Diamond.

Staley and the Gamecocks are in town to face Temple on Thursday night.
