Mirai Nagasu and Adam Rippon (and his harness accessory) steal the show on the Oscars red carpet

Because they are literally everywhere right now, figure skaters Adam Rippon and Mirai Nagasu appeared on the red carpet at the Academy Awards on Sunday night. The pair, who helped Team USA win bronze in the team event at the Pyeongchang Olympics, made quite an impression on Hollywood's biggest night.

Rippon got the fashion police -- and basically all of Twitter -- talking with his bold choice to wear a harness as part of his tuxedo. Yes, that's right -- a harness.

He explained his look simply: "I'm buckled in. Safety first!" Because, you know, he's the BEST.

And while honestly nothing else from the night really after matters after that, the two also adorably freaked out when Kelly Marie Tran from "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" crashed their interview.

Well, that was a refreshing addition to the red carpet. Please bring these two to every award show going forward. Thanks in advance.
