David Ortiz and Aly Raisman show Fenway Faithful about Girl Power

Two of the biggest sports legends in Boston took the field together, showing Fenway Park what Girl Power is all about.

Aly Raisman and David Ortiz yelled "play ball" together before Thursday's home opener between the Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays, and Big Papi surprised Raisman by revealing a "Girl Power" shirt.

Raisman, of course, knows a thing or two about Girl Power. Aside from her six Olympic medals from Rio and London, she read a powerful victim impact statement at the trial of former Michigan State and USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar and has been an advocate for sexual assault awareness.

Raisman is from Needham, Massachusetts, and is no stranger to Fenway Park. After all, when she returned home from the Rio Olympics in August 2016, she threw out the first pitch at a Red Sox game -- and even made Ortiz her personal medal holder.
